This project came about from my husband gifting me a flower bouquet subscription. Every month I would go to the floral shop and pick up my new bouquet in which I let them know they had creative control on how it looked and what flowers to use. The process was about the same each month. Bring home the bouquet and study it. I would look for what single flowers were standing out to me. Discover what colors were catching my eye. Plus study why these flowers where chosen to be together. When I saw something I would photograph it. By about a week in everything would start to wither and that is when I would take it apart and lay it out for it’s final photograph.
There were only 3 bouquets that I photographed just how I received it in the vase. I think I will share those in the next journal entry because one of them was an absolute stunner and the very last bouquet I received I knew that I was done. You’ll see what I mean by that!
There are six total images in this series and are listed in order below starting with the month of April and ending with the month of October. I did not photograph a July’s bouquet. If I remember right I might of skipped that month due to just too many summer activities going on.
I would LOVE to know which image is your favorite!
