Casual Friday Vol. 1

February 19, 2021

Welcome to the randomness that is Casual Friday! Behind the scenes photos, thoughts and links.

Oh Texas … I have been seeing so many photos and videos of homes being destroyed by water pipes bursting. Here in Colorado we are use to cold weather and lots of snow so our homes are made to protect our pipes and pipes that are outside are drained of all water. So we have never experienced this type of damage (knock on wood) but watching a ceiling collapsing due to water running is horrible. The Vault Coffee Shop Menu Design Project

This is my favorite photo of these menu’s for The Vault coffee shop! You will see here that I do a lot of things for The Heirloom Market, Mercantile Co. & The Vault. Tonia actually reminded me yesterday that we started working on this venture together 5 years ago! How things have grown in 5 years!! If you didn’t catch the blog post about these menu’s you can find it here.

Stars Above Beautifully Soft Fleece Lounge Sweatshirt

I am obsessed with this sweatshirt from Stars Above at Target. I am wearing them all the time right now! They are so soft and cozy and a great price. I have both colors but won’t tell you how many of each I have, I said I’m obsessed and they have been hard to find so I’m making sure I have a backup. The joggers that go with this sweatshirt are just as awesome. The website has most of the colors/sizes available right now so go grab one, I know you will love it! (I make nothing from your purchase)

Brenda Landrum Creative Studio greeting card project sneak peek

A little sneak peek at what I am working on. I went into 2021 knowing I wanted to change how I saw my work and being open minded to new mediums that are practical but also fun. I’m working on notecards and I’m really loving the paper that I found. It’s a bit of a slow process as I am determining which images work best for this medium and I’m also creating some typography graphic designs. I’m going to be sending them to some ‘testers’ to get feedback and then go from there!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you enjoyed this very casual unscripted post of just some random things I wanted to share with you. What do you want to see on the blog? More behind the scenes of what I’m doing, in-depth of how something is created, family & life, or do you only want to see finished product? Leave a comment below!
