Finally back into the garden with the temps warming up and the chance of snow is slim. I am so happy to see colorful blooms filling little pockets and everything greening up. Winter was a little bit hard on some things in the garden unfortunately so we may have lost a few plants but overall I’m thrilled with the things that are returning.

The yellow and purple tulips are new this year and they are so gorgeous. One thing that I was hoping for was that the white and pink tulips that put on a gorgeous show last spring would bloom again this year but only got a couple of blooms from those bulbs this spring. I was hoping they would naturalize but doesn’t seem to be the case. The daffodils though came back beautifully!! I did find it very very hard to cut any blooms to photograph. I know! That’s a big reason why I planted them but when they look so beautiful in the garden it’s hard to chop them down.

I took two sets of photos about a week apart and I love being able to see how quickly things grew. The tiny tulips opened up and the nepeta and salvia are blooming. The irises look like they are going to be amazing here shortly! It’s a happy space and I love sharing it with you.
